Cycle Labs Launches Cycle 2.22 with Powerful WebDriver Plugin and Enhanced Reporting Features

Raleigh, NC (August 7, 2025): Cycle Labs, a leading software company in the enterprise test automation space and creator of the patented Cycle® Continuous Test Automation Platform, today announced the release of Cycle 2.22, the latest version of its Cycle Testing Platform. This milestone release introduces significant performance improvements and new features that streamline web testing and enhance reporting visibility.

The highlight of Cycle 2.22 is the launch of the WebDriver step plugin, a major advancement in the platform’s web testing capabilities. This new plugin is the first to fully implement Cycle’s Step Plugin Architecture, introduced in version 2.20. It enables faster and more efficient web test execution—delivering performance gains of up to 25%—without requiring changes to existing test code.

Additional updates in this release include:

• Enhanced Report Dashboard: Now with syntax highlighting in the scenario trace to mirror the feature file editor, making test results easier to interpret.
• Worker Restart Indicators: Group tests now clearly show when a worker restarts, providing critical visibility during large-scale test executions.
• Bug Fixes and Usability Enhancements: Improvements to email summary reports, the User Management app, and other key areas further refine the user experience.
